"I began singing with the Rochester Oratorio Society after graduating from college. When I found my first job in another city, I had to give up singing with ROS. Over the thirteen years that I lived in other places, I never found another chorus of the same caliber. Four years ago, I moved back to Rochester and re-joined ROS. Singing with new friends and old in ROS has brought me back full circle – I’m home again!"

"Monday night rehearsal with the Rochester Oratorio Society was my weekly escape from job stress. The focus on the music presented such a different mindset from the many distractions that came with my career in teaching. Now that I am retired, this focus still appeals."
